Built to survive outdoors for a decade

Custom Telecom Enclosures & Outdoor Cabinets

Custom telecom enclosure fabrication: street cabinets, pole-mount enclosures, 19-inch rack cabinets and distribution housings in galvanized and stainless steel — designed around sealing, ventilation and corrosion performance rather than catalogue dimensions.

Corrosion is the whole game

A telecom cabinet lives outdoors for ten years. Powder coating over galvanized steel delivers 500–1,000+ hours neutral salt spray; clear zinc plating manages 48–72 hours. That difference is the difference between a ten-year asset and a warranty claim.

Sealing and ventilation are the same problem

Cabinets need airflow for thermal management and sealing against rain and dust. Vent positions, filter apertures, canopy overhangs and drainage paths get resolved together at drawing review.

Mounting matched to the installation

Pole bands, wall brackets, plinths, levelling feet and cable gland plates are fitted in-house so the cabinet arrives ready for the install crew.

FAQ

Can you build telecom cabinets to an IP rating?

We build the sealing design — gasket channel geometry, continuous welds, door flatness, drainage and gland sealing — to satisfy your target rating. Formal IP certification is issued by an accredited test house on a finished unit. State the target rating at RFQ and the enclosure is engineered to meet it.

What coating do you recommend for coastal installations?

Powder coating over galvanized steel handles most environments. In coastal or heavily chloride-laden sites, SS316 is usually the better long-term economic answer despite the higher material cost, because it does not depend on coating integrity.

Do you fit locks, hinges and gland plates?

Yes, in-house. Locking systems, hinges, gland plates, earthing studs, DIN rail and rack rails are fitted and function-checked before packing.

Can cabinets ship flat-packed to reduce freight cost?

Where the design permits a bolt-together structure, yes. On large street cabinets the volumetric freight saving often exceeds the on-site assembly cost — tell us your preference at RFQ so we design for it.

How do you handle ventilation without compromising sealing?

Labyrinth vents, canopy overhangs, filtered apertures and drainage channels allow airflow while blocking direct water ingress. The specific approach depends on your thermal load and target rating, and is agreed at drawing review.

What is the largest cabinet panel you can form?

Single bends run to 3,200 mm on the JFY TPR8-100 press brake. Larger structures are built as welded frames from multiple formed panels.
